What W.I.S. does
W.I.S. is a communication support app that helps users review message tone, intent, identity, words, perspective, and perception before sending a message.
Information the app may collect
- Phone number authentication data used to sign in through Firebase Authentication
- Messages, drafts, thread data, and analysis results saved in the app or synced through Firebase services
- Push notification tokens used to deliver notifications to signed-in devices
- Contact information only if the user grants contact access and chooses to link a contact
- Microphone and speech recognition input only when the user chooses voice features
How information is used
- To authenticate users and keep their app sessions active
- To sync threads, messages, and message analysis across devices
- To provide communication feedback, repair suggestions, and notification delivery
- To support optional features such as contact linking, dictation, and reminders
Data sharing
W.I.S. uses third-party infrastructure such as Firebase to support authentication, storage, sync, and push messaging. Information is not sold. Data may be processed by those service providers only as needed to operate the app.
User controls
- Users can remove the app from their device at any time
- Users can choose whether to grant access to contacts, microphone, speech recognition, and notifications
- Users can avoid cloud-backed features by not signing in or not using sync-enabled features
Children
W.I.S. is not directed to children under 13. If personal information from a child is believed to have been collected unintentionally, it should be removed as soon as possible.
Security
Reasonable efforts are used to protect data handled by the app and its service providers. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means the revised policy applies going forward.
